By now most of you would know that:

(I) I have some plants as every so often I would provide updates on carailli, pimentos and turmeric and

(II) I am interested and to some extent involved/engaged in accounting and taxation.

With respect to mixing the two sets of knowledge and in bridging the worlds between the two, I am talking about options, opportunities, replacement costs and carailli.

Here is a little bit of background for those of you who may not be familiar with gardening:

Carailli, like cucumbers grow on a vine and according to what I have read on the internet "puts out" about 5 male flowers for at least one female flower.

Thus to those who would know from practical experience, the vine runs and runs and you see pretty flowers, however you may not see female flowers or fruit.

So far we have had about:

Five carailli from one vine,

Three more vines sprout in close proximity to the first vine,

One carailli from the new vine and have seen about four more carailli on the first vine.

At times, carailli is sold on the street at about TT$7.00 per pound (lb) and if you are lucky, you may get about three plastic wrapped for about TT$5.00 in a supermarket with both of them being far apart geographically.

Taking all of the above into consideration, would you:

Sell your carailli if you have three on your vine and

At what price?

As you may need to replace it in your supply, given that you have limited resources available.
