All right, all right, aside from all the scenario planning and not knowing what the weather would be like , I did some shopping for groceries yesterday, (Gift money); here is what I got for my emergency rations (emergency fund):

3 tins sausage @ $3.45
3 tins Mackerel @$4.85
2 tins sardine @ $5.99 or thereabouts

1 roll of Grease proof paper (to wrap lunches and take out) - $7.00 . In case I feel like making fudge, (will need to get some condensed milk).

Sugar to make sorrel "condiment", with the left over pulp from the Christmas sorrel. (This adds some flavor to the meals)

I will pick up some flour, coconut milk, potatoes, pumpkin and onions as the month (Jan 2018) goes by and I will use up the other items (cornmeal, pasta, tuna, saffron, geera, cocoa, coffee and like items) which are in stock...

Grocery shopping for my mother will be minimal, hopefully.

Now if I were offering personal services, grocery shopping for the above and other items, I just might be able to (make or) take mth 7's fee in Month 1 or perhaps I will keep mth 1 as it is and save the difference to meet my other commitments.... Just joking.
