Every one is different especially as to when it comes to taking vacation leave. For some persons, they like to schedule their leave in a month when there are no public holidays so that they can enjoy the month or they may schedule it in a month when there are public holidays so that they use less of their leave or they may schedule it in a month following one with five Mondays, so that the little extra funds which they receive on pay day can help them "return to work in a happy frame of mind" . Be that as it may, here are some months which may satisfy those who select their vacation according to the above criteria:
Jan 2017 - 5 Mondays with one public holiday occurring on the first day in the year (Jan 1, with Jan 2, 2017 being given as a holiday). :)
Feb 2017 - 4 Mondays with two days of paid leave (depending on where you work) which occur at the end of the month. ( Feb 27 & 28, 2017)
March 2017 4 Mondays with one public holiday occurring close to the last day in the month (March 30, 2017)
April 2017 - 4 Mondays with two public holidays straddling a weekend and occurring close to the middle of the month (14th & 17th April 2017.)
May 2017 - 5 Mondays with one public holiday occurring on the second to last day in the month ( May 30, 2017)
June 2017 - 4 Mondays with 3 possible holidays occurring, one day in each of the weeks coming to the end of the month. (June 15, 19, & 26, 2017)
July 2017 - 5 Mondays with no public holidays scheduled at this time.
August 2017 - 4 Mondays with two public holidays occurring at this time (Aug 1 & 31, 2017 - Tues & a Thurs)
Sept 2017 - 4 Mondays with one public holiday occurring on a Sunday (Sept 24, 2017)
Oct 2017 - 5 Mondays with one possible holiday occurring in the third week of the month (Oct 19, 2017)
Nov 2017 - 4 Mondays with no public holidays scheduled at this time.
Dec 2017 -4 Mondays with two public holidays occurring close to the last week of the month ( Dec 25 & 26, 2017).
With respect to the above, there are 4 months with 5 Mondays in the month, which means that in those months there will be a larger contribution to National Insurance and Health Surcharge, from the employee with like contributions to NIS impacting on the employer, it may mean that one may have to reconsider how they will do things...
Perhaps June 2017 may not be the best month to ask for an increase in pay or to schedule the doctors appointments or maybe for some persons it may be the right time.

There is still one month in the year of Mercy for the Dominicans or the Order of the Preachers so if you need to spend some time in prayer and reflection at those parishes, it may help somewhat...

Hope the above helps everyone some way or the other... :)
